Viola
The viola, slightly larger than the violin, has a warm, rich tone perfect for orchestras, chamber music, and solos. Played with a bow, it has four strings tuned to C, G, D, and A.
Dulcimer
The Appalachian dulcimer is a traditional stringed instrument with a long, narrow body and 3–4 strings. Known for its mellow, folksy sound, it’s often heard in Appalachian, folk, and bluegrass music.
Bodhran
